The 1999 Lines of Equal Depth Map illustrates the groundwater depth to be 130 feet below ground surface. The Well Driller's Log for the on-site well indicates the"Depth at which water was first found, if known"to be 128 feet. It may be assumed from this statement that no perched water table conditions were encountered during the drilling procedures in 1975. The property is not subject to 100-year flooding. Therefore, it is the highly unlikely that there would be the surfacing of effluent from inundated conditions. As referenced in the Introduction, the water sample from the well on proposed Parcel 1 was tested for nitrate only and not for the agrichemicals DBCP/EDB. The water sample was taken from the hose bibb directly north of the pressure tank after the pump had cycled three times to ensure aquifer formation water was being sampled. The sample was placed in a cooled ice chest and transported to A&L Western Agricultural Labs under attached Chain of Custody. Page -3- Chesney Consulting
