Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating proposed staff,customer use, and winery waste, indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits <br /> (San Joaquin County Development'I'itle. Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is <br /> required. and a review fee of$445.00 must be paid ut time of submittal to Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or L.P.A. Design Manual RH onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$99.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> NOTE: Should the applicant propose to have the winery waste hauled off site, written approval <br /> from the public entity that will accept the winery waste shall be presented to <br /> Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of building per mit(s). <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropanc <br /> (DBCP)and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> Page I of 2 <br />
