t June 17,2002 <br /> NOA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT NUMBER LE02-183 <br /> FTypically, the surface layer is brown sandy loam about 18 inches thick. <br /> Included in this unit are small areas of San Joaquin, Tokay, Kingdon, Jahant, and <br /> Devries soils in the slightly lower landscape positions. Included areas make up about <br /> 15 percent of the total acreage. <br /> Permeability is moderately slow in the Bruella soil (USDA, p.32). <br /> For information on all Bruella soils, see above. Differences in the Bruella variations are discussed <br /> below. <br /> F112--Bruella sandy loam, hard substratum, 0 to 2 percent slopes. <br /> Typically, the surface layer is brown sandy loam about 8 inches thick <br /> F <br /> Included in this unit are small areas of Rocklin, San Joaquin,Jahant, and Tokay soils <br /> in the slightly lower landscape positions. Also included are small areas of Bruella soils . <br /> F-1 that do not have a hard substratum. (USDA, p.32, 33). <br /> P The following soil description does not have Bruella soils included in the dominant soil type. <br /> 240--San Joaquin loam,thick surface,0 to 2 percent slopes. This moderately well <br /> drained, nearly level soil is on low terraces. It is moderately deep to a hardpan, It <br /> formed in alluvium derived from granitic sources. <br /> F' Typically, the surface layer is pinkish gray loam about 12 inches thick. <br /> Included in this unit are small areas of Bruella and Exeter soils on terraces. Also <br /> Fincluded are small areas of San Joaquin soils that have slopes of 2 to 8 percent. <br /> Included areas make up about 15 percent of the total acreage. <br /> Permeability is very slow in the San Joaquin soil (USDA, p.117). <br /> } IV.
