Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is <br />suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of deed or record <br />of survey (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of <br />$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Department. <br />The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br />County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br />septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br />system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of $93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br />B. Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank on Parcel #1, seepage pit or excavation under permit <br />and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development <br />Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br />C. Destroy the abandoned well on Parcel #I under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br />Health Department as required (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br />1115.5(e)). <br />NOTE: The Environmental Health Department requires that a C-57 licensed contractor <br />demonstrate that a previous well on Parcel # 1 was properly destroyed, and if not, <br />corrective action and a well permit will be required. <br />
