The <br /> separation process is automatic and incorporates the use of <br /> uniquely designed Slant Rib, sinusoidal , oleophilic, coalescing <br /> plates arranged to induce oil droplet impingement on the plate <br /> surfaces. The Slant Rib plates enhance solids settling without <br /> plugging. Solids settle into a separate sludge chamber. The <br /> separator will effectively contain a 100% oil spill and will <br /> efficiently process variable influent flows. <br /> ED SIGN <br /> Slant Rib coalescing (SRC) oil/Water Separator shop fabricated, <br /> skid mounted, ready to install above grade and includes: <br /> 1) INLr.T cH MBER <br /> Inlet diffusion nozzle that is non-clogging and disperses the <br /> flow evenly across the depth and width of the coalescing <br /> pack. Heavy solids separate in the inlet chamber and settle <br /> into sludge collection chamber. <br /> 2) SEPARATION C�.._R <br /> Slant Rib oil separation chamber containing PVC oleophilic <br /> coalescing media arranged in a configuration that provides a <br /> minimum of 40 sq. ft. of oil coalescing surface and <br /> 10 sq. ft, of solids settling area per cubic foot of media. <br /> Plate spacing will be 3/4" maximum.
