GP-01-4 AND ZONE RECLASSIFICATION APPLICATION NO.ZR-01-2 <br /> OF DAVID AND ELLEN SILVA(C/O STEVEN MALCOUN) <br /> (FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration; <br /> 2. Adopt a Motion of Intent to approve General Plan Amendment Application No. <br /> GP-01-4 based on the ability to make the "Basis for General Plan Amendment;" <br /> (Attachment"A ) and <br /> 3. Adopt a Motion of Intent to approve Zone Reclassification Application No. ZR-01-2 <br /> based on the ability to make the "Bases for Zone Reclassification," (Attachment "A") <br /> with a condition placed on the application which states, "The use on the property <br /> shall be limited to truck parking only." <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The purpose of these applications is to amend the General Plan of two parcels from A/L (Limited- <br /> Agriculture)to 1/1- (Limited-Industrial) and change the zoning from AL-10 (Limited Agriculture-10 acre <br /> minimum) to I-W (Warehouse-Industrial). The parcels have a total area of 3.68 acres. The <br /> underlying project for the property is trailer parking (Use Type:Truck Parking). Truck parking may be <br /> conditionally permitted in the I-W zone with an approved Site Approval. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The Planning Commission considered this matter at its meeting of February 7, 2002. The <br /> Planning Commission voted to refer this item to the Board of Supervisors with the above <br /> recommendation. This project is consistent with the General Plan and Board Order B-00-437, <br /> pertaining to the General Plan Review, adopted April 11, 2000. <br />
