INTRODUCTION <br /> .. Our office was re ed by Mr. Dave Silva to conduct a Soil Suitability Study for subject <br /> property. We unders it is proposed to change the site designation from limited agriculture to <br /> limited industrial un a County General Plan amendment. The Assessor's Parcel Number <br /> (APN)is 193-170-28. The acreage corresponding to the APN number is 2.71 acres. The <br /> property address is 8355 S.Manthey Road,French Camp, California(Plate 1). <br /> C&va" 3 -7 W, �V4 4�- <br /> The Soil Suitability Study is required by the San Joaquin County Development Title. The <br /> study was conducted to determine if the parcel is suitable for a septic system and leach lines.The <br /> study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin <br /> ` County Development. Major elements of the field work included one(1) soil boring and one(1) <br /> in-situ percolation test. In addition to conducting the field work, a review of published soil <br /> .. information, geologic maps, and available ground water information was reviewed to determine <br /> the suitability of soils. No ground-water nitrate and DBCP test was performed due to the lack of <br /> any onsite or neighboring water wells. This report presents the results of our study. <br /> i_ <br /> H. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> It is proposed to continue to utilize the 2.71 acre parcel for truck trailer storage(Plate 1). <br /> The designation of the site is proposed to be changed from limited agriculture to limited <br /> industrial under a County General Plan amendment <br /> HI. PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> An interview was conducted with Mr. Dave Silva to determine the history of the site. Mr. <br /> Silva purchased the property in 1976 and has since been used for truck trailer storage. The <br /> ` property was originally purchased from Teichart Construction.There are no known septic <br /> systems or water wells on the site. <br /> r <br />
