(ATC),
ATC has prepared this addendum to the Workplan for Additional Subsurface Investigation at
Three Palms Grocery located at 6732 East Highway 88, Stockton, California dated January 8,
2004. Per our conversation, the proposed Geoprobe® soil boring located southwest of
monitoring well MW 1 and the former underground storage tanks will be drilled using direct push
Geoprobeg technology to an approximate depth of 50 feet bgs. The soil boring will then be
drilled until the first encountered groundwater, estimated to be about 90 feet bgs, using 2-1/2
inch augers and sampling at selected intervals as determined by the underlying lithology and at
depths of known contamination to further evaluate the lateral extent of impacted soil and
groundwater beneath the site. The proposed boring location is shown on the attached Figure 2.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding this workplan addendum,
please contact us at(209) 579-2221.
Respectfully submitted,
ATC Associates Inc.
Nathan Christman
Staff Geologist
Jeanne Hornsey, P.E.
Registered Engineer No. C47410
Attachments
cc: Ms. Leanne Scannavino
Mr. Jim Barton, CA Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region
wA148a5 I
ENVIRONMENTAL, GEOTECHNICAL AND MATERIALS PROFESSIONALS
