The State Water Resources Control Board can oril'y suspend corrective action at a <br /> site that complies with the requirements of state law. These requirements are as follows P. <br /> C- <br /> 1) The applicant must be an eligible claimant to the Underground Storage Tank ;: <br /> Cleanup Fund (Fund) <br /> 2) The applicant has performed a preliminary site assessment, and zFi <br /> 3) All of the following activities, if applicable at the site, have been completed: : <br /> ry �' <br /> a) removal or modification of existing tanks; ' �- <br /> .:�y <br /> b) removal of petroleum saturated soil from within the tank pit; <br /> c) removal of free product. <br /> The Underground Storage Tank CIeanup Fund staff info 4f s me that your claim,was rejected as <br /> incomplete on July 7, 1999. Under the provisions of Section 25299.39(a)(1) of Chapter 6.75 of <br /> the Health& Safety Code, only eligible Fund claimants may apply for a suspension of work. <br /> Your suspension of work application cannot be considered until you are deemed an eligible <br /> claimant.
