Groundwater Analytical Results
. The chemical analytical results of groundwater samples obtained from monitor wells at the Site on
May 23, 1996, are summarized in Table 2 Chemical analytical results indicated concentrations of
TPHg in MW-1 (9,320 ppb), MW-2 (166 ppb), MW-3 (795 ppb), and MW-4 (142 ppb) Benzene
concentrations ranged from 1 92 ppb (MW-4) to 410 ppb (MW-1) Toluene concentrations ranged
from 1,890 ppb (MW-1) to less than detectable levels (ND<0 5 ppb) (MW-2 and MW-4)
Ethylbenzene concentrations ranged from 283 ppb (MW-1) to less than detectable levels (ND<0 5
ppb) (MW-4) Concentrations of xylenes ranged from 1,340 ppb (MW-1) to less than detectable
levels (ND<0 5 ppb) (MW-4) In general, chemical analytical results indicate concentrations are the
highest in the vicinity of monitor wells MW-1 and MW-3 (Figure 2) Attachment II contains
photocopies of the laboratory analytical reports and the chain-of-custody form
Purgewater
Purgewater generated from the groundwater monitor wells is currently stored onsite in 55-gallon
drums and will be disposed of on-site with approval from the San Joaquin County Public Health
Services (SJCPHS)
FORTHCOMING .ACTIVITIES
During the third quarter of 1996, SECOR will conduct additional well monitoring, purging, and
sampling activities The results of these activities will be summarized in a quarterly monitoring report
to be submitted to you in October 1996 In addition, SECOR will report the results of an
investigation currently in progress at the Site. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the
extent of impacted groundwater by installing six groundwater monitor wells
This report presents our understanding of existing conditions at the subject Site The conclusions
contained herein are based on the analytical results and professional judgment which are in accordance
with current standards of professional practice, no other warranty is expressed or implied SECOR
assumes no liability for exploratory borings or data reported by other consultants or contractors
Sincerely, ED GFO
SECOR International Incorporated S.BOA 0
a
No.6Q65 •
Todd J.
