"nouweEnvironmental <br /> i <br /> Canonie Environmental Services Corp <br /> 7901 Stoneridge Drive <br /> Suite 100 <br /> Pleasanton, California 94588 <br /> September 17, 1992 I Phone 510 463 9117 <br /> FAX 510 463 2981 <br /> 91-634-54 <br /> Mr Michael Collins <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 445 North San Joaquin <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Soil Vapor Survey Report <br /> With Proposed Boring and Well Locations <br /> Underground Storage Tank Site <br /> Jackpot Food Mart <br /> Lockeford California <br /> Dear Mr Collins <br /> This Soil Vapor Survey Report has been prepared by Canonie Environmental Services <br /> Corp (Canonie) for Time Oil Co (Time Oil) to present the results of the recent soil <br /> vapor survey and to propose soil boring and well locations at the Underground Storage <br /> Tank (UST) site at the Jackpot Food Mart located at 14000 Highway 88 in Lockeford, <br /> California (see Figure 1 ) This letter report satisfies the requirements for Phase I of <br /> the Site Assessment Work Plan presented in the July 24, 1992 Canonie report <br /> Site Background <br /> In September of 1991, three USTs were removed from an excavation and were <br /> replaced by three new USTs placed in a new excavation (Figure 2) The pump islands <br /> were also removed and replaced by new pump islands in approximately the same <br /> location Seven soil samples were taken from the excavation floor along with two soil <br /> samples from beneath the pump islands No groundwater was encountered during the <br /> excavation All sampling and testing was performed in accordance with the Tri- <br /> Regional Board Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites (August 1990 and local county requirements A summary <br /> of these chemical results is given in Table 1 Soils from the excavation were <br /> stockpiled, sampled, and replaced in the excavation with San Joaquin County Public <br /> .
