IV. CONCLUSION
As noted above, the property is located in a designated
flood plane ( 100 yr. ) . Future residential construction, in
accordance with current San Joaquin County regulations will
require specialized elevated improvements.
Based on the results of the percolation tests, the soil
profile and the existing ground water elevation, it appears that
the continued use of sub-surface disposal fields for septic tank
use is not possible.
Since the existing home currently has a permitted sub-
surface system and has been operating without reported problems,
it should be considered adequate at this time. Future (new)
residential use, should however, utilize a mounded soil
absorption system, as described in the "Sewage Standards"
handbook, prepared by the Public Health Services, Environmental
Health Division, of San Joaquin County. The mounded system
should be designed specifically to meet future use requirements
at time of permit application.
Respectfully submitted,
SCHACK & COMPANY, INC.
R . ► 2, t, s13
Dan R. Schack, Civil Engineer
DRS/jr
Attachments
