J
May 5, 2006
FOR: Mr. Greg Oliveira, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
304 East Weber Ave.
Stockton, CA 95202
PROJECT: Ice House Industrial Park
24500 South MacArthur Road
Tracy, CA 95376
Land Use Application#PA-05-776
SUBJECT: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Studies Addendum
Reference is made to the Studies conducted for the project listed above. Clarification is required
regarding the two lift station design parameters, due to changes made to the lift stations after
completion of the Report. The changes apply to the first Paragraph of Page 15 of the Report:
Influent from the ten restrooms of Building"D"will gravity flow into a single compartment-
2,000 gallon septic tank. Effluent from this tank will then gravity to an adjacent 1,200 gallon,
dual compartment lift station tank to be pumped to the first of three septic tanks at the southern
end of the filter beds.
Influent from the ten restrooms of Building"C" and two restrooms from existing Building`B"
will gravity flow into another single compartment, 2,000 gallon septic tank, as denoted on the
Plans. Effluent from this tank will gravity flow into an adjacent dual compartment 1,200 gallon
lift station tank. This effluent will also be pumped to the first of three tanks referenced above.
We trust this provides clarification. All other design parameters outlined in the report and on the
Plans will remain the same. If there should be any questions, please contact the undersigned.
Respectfully submitted,
CHESNEY CONSULTING
Don Chesn14V ey, R.E.A. - I
T O.
