Assessor Parcel Number(s): 248-170-01 Status: Consisten wilding / Planning LAND USE CONSISTENCY REVIEW The project site is located within the Airport Influence Area(AIA) of Tracy Municipal Airport. Pursuant to the State Aeronautics Act (Public Utilities Code Section 21676), the project is subject to a Consistency Determination by the San Joaquin County ALUC. This project includes a Site Approval application for the conversion of an existing non-conforming walnut huller operation to landscaping service business. The project is located on the southeast corner of Etcheveny Drive and Mac Arthur Drive in the City of Tracy(APN 248-170-01). See attached map. The land uses proposed with the conversion are compatible with the 2009 ALUCP Zones for Tracy Municipal Airport. Within the 2009 ALUCP the Area of Influence is divided into subareas. In each subarea, different land use standards, conditions, and restrictions apply. The project site is not located within any of the AIA subareas, although properties within the AIA are routinely subject to over flights by aircraft using public-use airports. Before this use can be established, this project is subject to comply with all relevant ALUC Conditions: 1. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in flight shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided include: • Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are not permitted to be used in structures or signs(excluding traffic directing signs); • Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility;
