-2- <br /> Noise <br /> The plant is located in the middle of the 485 acre site. There are operating quarries <br /> located to the west and north of the project site. These quarries also operate 24 hours <br /> per day. There are two residences located on Tracy Boulevard near the western <br /> boundary of the quarry. Residence #1 is located on the west side of Tracy Boulevard, <br /> approximately 2000 feet from the plant. Residence #2 is located on the east side of <br /> Tracy Boulevard, approximately 2500 feet from the plant. There are two additional <br /> residences located on Macarthur Drive, which are near the eastern boundary of the <br /> quarry. These residences are located on the east side of Macarthur Drive, <br /> approximately 3400 feet from the plant. It is not anticipated that the noise generated by <br /> the operation of the quarry for an additional 5 hours per day will result in significant noise <br /> impacts to the nearby existing residences. <br /> This item is tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission hearing on June 2, 2005. <br /> The Community Development Department has reviewed the Revision of Approved <br /> Actions application and responses from other agencies will be recommending that the <br /> Planning Commission approve the project subject to the following revised conditions: <br /> 1. PLANNING DIVISION <br /> c. Operations may be conducted Monday through Saturday;, ham^ the he •s <br /> .
