r, <br /> 3JAirport Land Use Commission <br /> existing solid waste processing and recycling facility by 12.5 acres with a capacity increase from 1,000 <br /> tons per day to 2,500 tons per day. The project is located east of MacArthur Drive within the <br /> unincorporated lands of San Joaquin County,APN 173-060-27. <br /> The land uses proposed with the extension are comp-tible with the 2009 ALUCP Zones for Tracy <br /> Municipal Airport,the following are standards and project design conditions specific to comp!'^rce with <br /> the ALUCP and should be carried through as conditions of approval: This is not a mitigation request. <br /> These are project design conditions that are required as part of compliance with the 2009 ALUCP: <br /> 1. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in <br /> flight shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area_ Specific characteristics to be <br /> avoided include: <br /> o Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective <br /> materials are not permitted to be used in structures or signs (excluding traffic directing <br /> signs); <br /> o Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility; <br /> o Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No <br /> transmissions which would interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational <br /> signals are permitted. <br /> o Any proposed use, especially landfills and certain agricultural uses, that creates an <br /> increased attraction for large flocks of birds. <br /> 2. Occupied structures must be soundproofed to reduce interior noise to 45dB according to State <br /> Guidelines. <br /> 3. Within the AIA,ALUC review is required for any proposed object taller than 100 feet AGL. <br /> 4. Regardless of location within San Joaquin County, any proposal for construction or alteration of <br /> a structure (including antennas) taller than 200 feet above the ground level at the site.
