Project Description — Construction &Demo]ition/I nert Debris Facility Report <br /> Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station <br /> 30703 S. The materials then proceed across a 3" minus screen to <br /> separate out the "fines"; remaining materials (smaller wood and metal) are <br /> manually sorted and placed in individual debris boxes by commodity. Residual, <br /> non-recyclable waste is stockpiled after failing from the end of the conveyor. <br /> Reject materials (e.g. residual contaminants and unmarketable materials) <br /> remaining from sorting is stockpiled at the end of the pickline for a period not to <br /> exceed 48 hours. The site, identified as APNs 253-130- <br /> 19 and 253-130-26, is within the eastern half of Section 16, Township 3 South, <br /> Range 5 East, M.D.B.M., is approximately 51.7 acres in size and is located on the <br /> west side of MacArthur Drive south of Linne Road (see Figure 1 in Appendix A). <br /> Access to the site is via MacArthur Drive. The majority of the site consists of a <br /> large pit, approximately 30 to 40 feet deep, that was previously used for gravel <br /> mining operations. The site address is 30703 South MacArthur Drive, Tracy, CA. <br /> The gravel pit presently contains no structures or trees, and is comprised <br /> exclusively of exposed silty sand to silty gravel and naturally occurring grassland <br /> vegetation. Primary routes of delivery to the site include: MacArthur Drive, Linne <br /> Road, Corral Hollow Road, and Tracy Boulevard. Regional access to the facility is <br /> provided by Highways 5 and 580. <br /> The site is currently zoned as open space/resource conservation (AGA0, <br /> Agricultural: 40 Acres) by San Joaquin County.
