it <br /> �I <br /> i <br /> Project Description —Construction &Demolition/Inert Debris Facility Report <br /> i� Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station <br /> II 30703 S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, Callfornia 95377 <br /> Site Restoration <br /> I <br /> The proposed facility is not designed with a pre-scheduled termination date. <br /> However, once tl1F facility ceases operations, Tracy MRF & TS will comply with <br /> the site restoration requirements of 14 CCR §17384.1. This will include cleaning <br /> the operations area and any on-site structures--and proper disposal, reuse or <br /> recycling—of all residues including, but not limited to construction and demolition <br /> and inert debris, and other materials related to operations, in addition to cleaning <br /> and removal of all processing equipment. The LEA will be notified at least 30 <br /> j days prior to site restoration activities commencing. <br /> Description of Methods to Comply with Title 14 <br /> The facility will employ methods to comply with the state minimum standards <br /> from the California 1 Code of Regulations- Title 14 listed below: <br /> i • Article 6.2. Operating Standards <br /> • Article 6.3. Record Keeping Requirements <br /> • Article 6.35 Additional Operating Requirements for Facilities Only <br /> Article 6.2 Operatino Standards F14 CCR 17407.1 – 17410.4 ' <br /> Burning Wastes and Open Burning [74 CCR 17407.1] <br /> j� <br /> Burning wastes are not accepted. Any burning wastes that are inadvertently <br /> received in C&D ' debris boxes will be separated from other combustible <br /> materials, placed in a safe area away from operations areas or other potential fire <br /> hazards, spread, a'nd fire extinguished using the existing water hoses normally <br /> applied to dust suppression or other firefighting equipment, as necessary. There <br /> will be no open burning on-site. <br /> The operator maintains several hydrants disbursed throughout hroughout the facility, as part <br /> of the onsite water supply system which includes a 150,000 gallon water tank <br /> (fed by onsite wells) and pressurization equipment. Hoses, also used onsite for <br /> { dust suppression purposes, are available to suppress small fires, should they <br /> occur. Process water used for dust or fire control or other operational <br /> i requirements, and will be minimized only to what is necessary. Surface water <br /> runoff, including alVprocess water, will be directed to a onsite retention basin by <br /> use of grading design and drainage ditches, where it will bero e <br /> p p rly treated, if <br /> necessary, to eliminate potential environmental impacts. <br /> Cleaning [14 CCR 1` 7407,2] <br /> The facility will be maintained regularly by site personnel. A daily site walk will be <br /> conducted by facility personnel to identify areas of the entrance, site and <br /> buildings in need of''pcleaning or repair.
