Put the established <br /> emergency rescue procedures into effect. Understand the facilities <br /> emergency rescue procedures and know the locations of rescue equipment <br /> before the need arises. <br /> IF THIS CHEMICAL GETS INTO THE EYES - Immediately wash the eyes with large <br /> amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the <br /> lower and upper lids. Get medical attention immediately. <br /> IF THIS CHEMICAL GETS ON THE SKIN - Immediately wash contaminated skin. <br /> Get medical attention if irritation occurs. <br /> IF A PERSON BREATHES IN LARGE AMOUNTS OF THIS CHEMICAL - Move the exposed <br /> person to fresh air at once. If breathing has stopped perform <br /> artificial respiration. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. <br /> Get medical attention immediately. <br /> IF THIS CHEMICAL HAS BEEN SWALLOWED - And person is conscious, immediately <br /> give the person large quantites of water. SPILL AND LEAK PROCEDURES <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> Isopropyl Alcohol has a CERCLA Reportable Quantity of one hundred pounds. <br /> Polydimethylsiloxane does not have a CERCLA Reportable Quantity listed. <br /> Nonionic Surfactant does not have a CERCLA Reportable quantity listed. <br /> Spills exceeding these limits must immediately be reported to the EPA. <br /> SPECIFIC SPILL AND LEAK PROCEDURES: <br /> • Keep sparks, flames and other ignition sources away. <br /> • Keep material out of water sources and sewers. <br /> • Build dikes to contain flow as necessary. <br /> • Attempt to stop leak only if without hazard. <br /> • Use water spray to knock down vapors. <br /> • Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment. <br /> • Small Spills: Take up with sand or noncombustible absorbent material. <br /> • Large Spills: Dike or dig pits for containment. <br /> • Water Spills: Restrict water use and access downstream. <br />
