SUBJECT PROPERTY RECORDS
The San Joaquin County Fire Prevention Bureau and San Joaquin County Agricultural
Commissioner's Office and SJCEHD were contacted and the CVRWQCB database and EDR report
were reviewed concerning the subject property.
6.1.1. Fire Department
AGE contacted the San Joaquin County Fire Prevention Bureau(SJCFPB)regarding permitting of
underground or above-ground storage tanks and hazardous materials violations for the subject
property addresses. The SJCFPB noted that records concerning underground storage tanks would
be on file with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division(SJCEHD). There were no
ecords for the subject property addresses.
6.1.2. Agricultural Commissioner's Office/Pesticide Use
AGE contacted the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office (SJCACO) for
information concerning the use of agricultural chemicals on the subject property. The SJCACO noted
that agricultural chemicals permitted foruse through Restricted Materials Permits are notnecessarily
used on the property.Pesticide Use Reports are submitted by the farmer for the actual chemicals and
amounts used. The SJCACO maintains Use Permits for five years, and records are filed by the farm
name or grower name and not by address.
AGE requested a records search for the farm/farmer name of SHEA in the defined subject property
sections and reviewed the documents provided by the SJCACO for the property to identify records
pertinent to the subject property. The location maps provided with the three Restricted Materials
Permit packages show the subject property as wheat and volunteer barley fields on Map 3,Fields 1
and 2(3-1,3-2); copies of the Restricted Materials Permits and Pesticide Use Reports are provided
in Appendix C. The field areas shown on the maps did not extend into Section 28 to the west.
Restricted Materials Permits RMPs:Three RMPs were issued;the second RMP,issued for 1/2000
- 12/2002 did not include Pesticide Use Reports (PURs).
AGE notes that Map 3, Field 3-2 (Parcel 3, north of the aqueduct) is listed as 190 acres, which is
close to the 187 acres listed for Parcel 3. Field 3-1 is listed as 250 acres, which approximates the
portions of Parcels 1 and 2 located in Section 27. Documentation combines the two fields as 440
acres, but it appears that only the land north of the aqueduct had been actually treated.
Advanced GeoFnAron mental,Inc.
