RECLAMATION PLAN - QX-99-02 (REVISED)
George Reed, Inc.
Page Three
The environmental impacts to the County Park located north of the project site is not
significant due to the 2500' abutment to the park, which is minimal in comparison with
the total project. Most patrons use the park on weekends or evenings during the summer
when there is no activity within the project area. Most people visiting the park are
utilizing the north area of the park along the river and away from the project activity
when excavation occurs. Excavation of five acres along the park boundary should
take approximately 6 months of the total 17 year project which is not a significant
impact in evaluating the total project. With dust control, required noise levels on
equipment, the 25' setback and required slopes; impacts to the park from the
project activity should be less than significant.
II.
