Frandpossibly
cape cover grass proposed over the filter bed area may remove one-third of the applied
ugh evapotranspiration and possibly one-third of the applied nitrogen in the effluent,
more.
e mitigation treatment system were to be installed for this project, there is no guarantee
that the nitrate concentration in the effluent will be less than what has been calculated, and in fact,
may exceed the Maximum Contaminant Level on occasion.
VI. LIMITATIONS
The findings, opinions, conclusions and design criteria expressed in this report are based upon
information from standard engineering data and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific
literature and agency consultations. Information in this report is deemed reliable by the sources
from where it was obtained. Results of the percolation and infiltration testing should be assumed to
only represent the subsurface conditions encountered in the specific area of testing and not
necessarily of the entire areas allocated for future wastewater disposal.
Our report is based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely variable
and complex within the environment. Although there are several methods to design, size and
predict impact from septic systems, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division Sewage
Standards, federal and state publications and information from the scientific literature have been
employed for these purposes, and for this project. Therefore, no guarantee or warranty concerning
any aspect of this investigation or design criteria is expressed or implied.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you. If there should be any questions
regarding the information contained in this report, please contact the undersigned.
Respectfully submitted,
JfESSfOR
CHESNEY CONSULTING sOyRG a!Nr tpyreCFtlq/y91 Fye
yc 00 S'1' No. 14977
No. 04675 '` Exp. 3-3146"
Ex Ir9S: ;0 sTgT CIVILOF C
PSP
Ifo
Don Chesney, R.E.A. my cn 4 10
Harold Callahan, R.C.E.
Registered Environmental Assessor#4675
Page -14-
C&SMS Consulting
