The following items are <br /> required to be inspected at least daily: <br /> 1. overfill/spill control equipment; <br /> 2. aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases of water; <br /> 3. data gathered from monitoring and leak-detection equipment; <br /> 4. outside areas of the tank system including secondary containment to detect erosion or signs of releases of <br /> hazardous waste; <br /> 5. for uncovered tanks, the level of waste in the tank. <br /> Immediately begin required inspections of the hazardous waste tank system, and document the items inspected. <br /> Submit a copy of the inspection log for the next 30 days to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A55 gallon drum of spent absorbent was observed in the motor oil storage room without labeling. Two 55 gallon steel <br /> drums of used oil and two plastic buckets of used oil were observed behind the shop, next to the used oil tank, without <br /> labels. A bucket of used oil mixed with trash was observed in the shop pit storage area without a label. All hazardous <br /> waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> -physical state(liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information.
