U '� <br /> PHONE NUMBER: (209) 468-3443 � `� <br /> RE: PA-04-248 (ZR,Pre-application), Attention: Jennifer Jolley <br /> 4860,4798,4708, and 4642 East Main Street, Stockton <br /> The Environmental Health Department has the following concerns on this pre-application that <br /> need to be addressed: <br /> ",A%A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination <br /> report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past <br /> �c l or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous <br /> b� materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as <br /> l fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-905.12(a)). In addition, the report shall be submitted to the <br /> Environmental Health Department at the time of submittal of a tentative map. <br /> B. Written Confirmation is required from Public Works Department that improvements have <br /> been constructed or financial arrangements have been made for any improvements for public <br /> sewer required by the agency. In addition, written confirmation from the Public Works <br /> Department that the agency has or will have the sewer capacity to serve the development is <br /> also required(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1100.3). <br /> C. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1120.2) <br /> A letter from the water supplier will be required stating that they have the capacity to <br /> serve the development and that the system meets State standards prior to recording the <br /> final map(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1100.3). <br /> r The Environmental Health Department requires the abandoned well(s) be destroyed under <br /> permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.5(e)). <br /> NOTE: See Service Request Permit Numbers SR0036745 and SR0036746 (work not complete). <br /> D <br /> 6 <br />
