F
ns
Since the proposed two septic systems for the commercial facility and office expansion will be
engineered structures, rainfall may be managed by mounding the surface of the disposal areas for
rainwater runoff. At present, the leachfields are proposed to be pressurized laterals within Infiltrator
Chambers to take advantage of the denitrification capabilities of the indigenous soils. Sufficient area
exists for both primary disposal areas and 100%replacement areas.
As mentioned, it appears that percolation testing cannot take place for another two weeks or more.
Consequently, it may be three to four weeks before submittal of the Studies and approval by EHD.
Based upon the information conveyed in this document and the fact that the systems will be
engineered, would it be possible for Preston Pipelines to apply for their Building Permits and receive
preliminary approval from EHD within the next few days?
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
Respectfully submitted,
CHESNEY CONSULTING
Don Chesn y, R.E.A.
Chesney Consulting
