1 part of the Regional System. <br /> 2 The City agrees to accept, convey, treat and dispose of <br /> 3 all wastewater discharged into the Regional System under the <br /> 4 terms of this Agreement in compliance with all applicable laws , <br /> 5 rules and regulations, except as is otherwise provided in <br /> 6 Section 16 of this Agreement. <br /> 7 The City shall receive all contributions and revenue <br /> 8 accruing and due for the construction, operation and maintenance <br /> 9 of the Regional System. Such funds shall be deposited in, <br /> 10 disbursed from and accounted for in the City ' s Regional Waste- <br /> 11 water Control Utility Fund. <br /> 12 SECTION 7. INSPECTION AND SAMPLING CONDITIONS <br /> 13 Provisions shall be made for pumping plant and point of <br /> 14 delivery inspection, sampling and testing of user agency waste- <br /> 15 water, to be conducted by City staff. All associated costs <br /> 16 shall be considered as ordinary expense of the Regional System. <br /> 17 At the request of the City, County shall without delay in- <br /> 18 spect the wastewater generating and disposal facilities of any <br /> 19 user to determine that such user is complying with the require- <br /> 20 ments and intent of this Agreement. <br /> 21 SECTION 8. SANCTIONS <br /> 22 This agreement shall not preclude the City from: <br /> 23 Providing wastewater transport and treatment facilities to <br /> 24 other agencies or users, public or private. <br /> 25 Making beneficial use of treated effluent or the byproducts <br /> 26 of treatment. Any revenues derived from such beneficial uses <br /> 27 shall be used to offset the capital costs and the costs of <br /> - 10 - <br /> S CO. COUNSEL 17 <br />
