Agricultural activities and the use of septic systems in the area should
P be considered potential ground-water contamination sources.
4.3 Water Sample Location
According to Dave Silva there are two wells on site. One well is domestic and the other is
r agricultural.A sample was taken from the faucet of the domestic well on February 8,2007. The
results of the water sample are forthcoming.
i
5.0 SOIL PROFILE AND GEOLOGIC INFORMATION
f The Site is depicted on the California Geological Survey Geologic Map of Cenozoic Deposits of the San
Francisco-San JoseQuadrangle (1991) as within the Quarternary Modesto Formation. The Modesto
Formation consists of Arkosic alluvium forming Mokelumne River terraces and alluvial fan; chiefly
Fill sand with minor gravel and silt;probably glacial outwash (Plate 7).
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the San Joaquin County Soil Survey
yto be composed of Honcut sandy loam,Manteca fine sandy loam,Tinnin loamy coarse sand and
l! P! Veritas, all 0-2% slopes (Plate 8) (USDA, 1992).
