NOA Project Number: E07188A <br /> I <br /> I �j <br /> t E SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> SILVA TRUCKING <br /> SJC APPLICATION NUMBER PA-07-439 <br /> F1 8853 SOUTH MANTHEY ROAD <br /> Fi <br /> FRENCH CAMP, CALIFORNIA <br /> F� <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Dave Silva Trucking of French Camp to conduct a soil suitability <br /> Fistudy for the property at 8853 South Manthey Road, French Camp, California. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> �"'j County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> 3 [ In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br />'. r°; The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br />' F ; the EHD's Soil Suitab ty Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14,2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The site consists of one parcel,Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 193-200-06. The existing parcel is <br /> F121.4 acres in size. The County application number for this project is PA-07-439. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map,is <br /> approximately 15 to 20 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat but located in a region <br /> with a slight grade down towards the southwest. The property is located approximately one half mile <br /> north of Roth Road and lies directly west of Interstate 5.
