September 14, 2006 <br /> NOA Project Number: E06095A <br /> L SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> LSJC APPLICATION NUMBER PA-05-252 <br /> 11040 EAST MARIPOSA ROAD <br /> ` STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> L <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> LOur office was contracted by Mrs.Jo Moore of Stockton to conduct a soil suitability study for the <br /> property at 11040 East Mariposa Road, Stockton, California. <br /> I <br /> L The soil suitability study (SSS)was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> L 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County,Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps,and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> r septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The subject property is located south of Mariposa Road, approximately 800 feet east of Kaiser Road, <br /> approximately four miles southeast of Stockton. The property consists of a roughly rectangular, <br /> L 10.25-acre parcel(APN 181-060-15).
