The project site is located within the Stockton Metropolitan
Airport's Airport Influence Area (AIA), and pursuant to the State Aeronautics Act (Public Utilities Code Section
21676),the project is subject to a Consistency Determination by the San Joaquin County ALUC.
CONSISTENCY REVIEW
This project consists of a Site Approval to expand an existing concrete manufacturing facility in three phases
over five years. Phase 1 includes the construction of a 6,000 square foot office, a new parking area, and new
signalized entrance on Mariposa Road at Stagecoach Road. Phase 2 includes the construction of a 24,000 square
foot production building and an 8,750 square foot steel fabrication building. Phase 3 includes the construction of
a 12,000 square foot production building and a 2,500 square foot maintenance building.
The land uses proposed with the expansion are compatible with the adopted 1993 Safety Zones for Stockton
Metropolitan Airport. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in flight shall
not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided include:
• Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are not
permitted to be used in structures or signs (excluding traffic directing signs);
• Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility;
• Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No transmissions which
would interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational signals are permitted.
