SAN JOAQUINCOTTIVTY
ENVIRCYNMENTAL HEALTH'bEPARTMENT
600 East Main Street Stockton, California 95202
okJanuary 18, 2008 G
To: San Joaquin County Community Development Department
Attention: Jason Jones
From: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Contact Person: Ted Tasiopoulos, Senior REHS, Phone: (209) 953-7698
Re: PA-0700548 (SA), SU0006858
4242 E. Mariposa Road, Stockton
The San Joaquin County Development Title requirements listed below have been identified as
pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements may not be
modified.
A. The existing septic system is not accurately depicted on the site plan according to EHD
permit SR#0033583. Submit to the Environmental Health Department a revised site plan
indicating the actual location of the sewage disposal system. In addition, show on revised
plans that the leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or
used as a storage area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and
it cannot contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title,
Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)).
In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal
replacement area.
B. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and
discharged to an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department.
A registered engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground
holding system must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test
requirements may be obtained from the Environmental Health Department. A $196.00 plan
check fee is required at the time of submittal.
C. If hazardous material(s) is stored on site, applicant must register with San Joaquin County
Office of Emergency Services.
D. If any quantity of hazardous waste is generated, a hazardous waste generator permit must be
obtained from the EHD. The applicant must also obtain an EPA Identification Number, and
comply with all applicable regulations.
E. A soil suitability study shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department indicating
that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The study must be approved by the
Environmental Health Department prior to the issuance of a building permit(s) for Phase
Two (proposed service repair facility). (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-
1105.2 (d)). A review fee of$196.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental
Health Department.
ejPA-0700548
