AND M.J. <br /> BARTON (C/O MOYER CONSULTING) (SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT 5) <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Deny Minor Subdivision Application No.'s.MS-93-120 and MS-93-121 based upon the inability <br /> to make Findings No. 1 and 2. <br /> FINDINGS: <br /> 1. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Specific Plan and <br /> Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the County. <br /> • This Finding cannot be made because the applications are Inconsistent with <br /> Agricultural Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises,small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> of open space.' <br /> Due to the fact that the owner Is proposing to create a total of four homesite parcels <br /> with these two Minor Subdivision applications and has also created two homesite <br /> parcels for himself under two previous subdivision applications (DL-72-210 and PM- <br /> 83-32), these applications will further fragment agricultural land. <br /> 2. The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan and <br /> any applicable Specific Plan or Special Purpose Plan. <br /> • This Finding cannot be made because the applications are Inconsistent with <br /> Agricultural Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises,small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> of open space.' <br />
