[61 Continued.
With respect to the protection of the underlying groundwater from pathogens and nitrates (NO,), the
depth to groundwater(55 ft), and the low density housing can be considered favorable for prevention
of nitrate contamination. It appears agricultural practices have not influenced the nitrate groundwater
concentration of the aquifer(s) which serve the irrigation well. Attached well logs from the
Environmental Health Department indicate there are sufficient clay layers between grade and the
depth to groundwater to have some attenuation effect on the downward migration of nitrate
molecules.
[71 LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this Soil Suitability Study are based upon current information concerning the
location and results of the percolation testing, and the highest anticipated depth to groundwater. The
results of the percolation testing can only be assumed to represent the subsurface conditions
encountered in the area of testing.
It is our opinion that the findings included in this study is a reasonable assessment of the current
subject property conditions. This opinion cannot constitute a guarantee or warranty, either expressed
or implied.
Respectfully submitted,
QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTION, INC.
Don Chesney, R.E.A. Jess Wry, P.E.
