Date: January 22, 2002
To: San Joaquin County Community Development Department
From: City of Stockton, Community Development Department, Planning
Division, Permit Center, 425 N. EI Dorado Street, Stockton, CA 95202,
(209) 937-8266
Subject: City Community Development Department Response to San Joaquin
County Referral — SA-01-97
Project Description: Site Approval application for property located on the west side
of McKinley Avenue, south of EI Dorado Street (193-020-09).
Stockton General Plan Designation: Industrial
Recommendation: The Community Development Department has no specific
comments regarding the project itself, however, the environmental document for the
project should include mitigation measures to adequately address potential odors
associated with the proposed project, as well as for the project's potential impacts
to North Little Johns Creek. In the event that the project needs public services from
the City, an Out-of-Agency Service Agreement will be required. This Agreement
may, in turn, lead to a requirement from LAFCO for the site to annex into the City.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this application.
ROGER A. STOREY, DEPUTY CITY MANAGER/
INTERIM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
by
::ODMA\ RPWISE\COS.CD D.CDD_Library:20202.1
