Verified with dispatch that Public Health had been notified and an IC was on scene.
Dispatcher seemed defensive and advised me that SFD Dispatch was handling this incident. I
advised Dispatch that an IC is required if OES is requested to respond and Health needs to be
notified per the response policy. I requested the IC cell phone number.
1650-I contacted the IC and advised to make contact with the Public Health Officer.
1710 -The IC canceled OES response per Public Health declaring the incident to be a non-threat.
1725 -The IC requested OES to respond, stating his sergeant said OES was required to respond.
L. 1730-Requested dispatch to have the sergeant contact HM-1 regarding the request for OES
response.
1750-Contacted Dispatch to check the status of my request to have the sergeant make contact.
L. 1755 - Still no contact by the sergeant. Notified OES#1. While advising OES #1 of the situation,
the sergeant called. I clarified the situation with the sergeant.
