Reference is made to our
previous report dated September 27 , 1991, which included
percolation tests performed on the west side of the property.
As requested, on September 24, 1991, representatives of our firm
drilled one approximate 9-1/2-foot deep and one approximate 15-foot
deep percolation test hole at the approximate location indicated on
Plate I. The test holes were drilled with a truck-mounted drill
rig equipped with 6-inch diameter continuous-flight augers. The
test holes were cased with slotted PVC pipe, covered with plywood
and bags of soil, and left for later percolation testing.
A representative of our firm returned to the site on November 26,
1991, filled the test holes with approximately 3 to 5 feet of
relatively clean :rater, and left them to soak overnight. On
November 27, 1991, our representative returned to the site to
perform the percolation tests. Following the published guidelines,
the tests were performed for a period of 30 minutes. The
percolation rates obtained were approximately 2 minutes per inch at
the 9-1/2-foot depth and 6 minutes per inch at the 15-foot depth.
The County approved percolation test field sheet is included with
this letter.
KLEIN??LDEght 825 East MyrtlerStreet, Stockton, CA 95205 (209) 948-1345 Page 1 of 2
