%W01 ..
CUMULATIVE TRAFFIC CONDMONS
TRAmc VOL[mtE FORECASTS
Year 2020 traffic volume forecasts were obtained by applying the City of Tracy's Traffic Model (as
updated for the South Schulte/Tracy Hills Specific Plan). Future year ADT projections for major study
area roadways and programmed roadway facility improvements outlined in the Mountain House
Community Environmental Impact Report (EIR) were also considered in forecasting cumulative year
traffic volumes and establishing cumulative intersection lane geometries and control.
The cumulative year traffic projections presented in this report include the development of the Mountain
House Community. A cumulative average ADT of 17,500 vehicles is projected on Grant Line Road
section between Byron Road and Corral Hollow Road. A cumulative ADT of 11,000 is projected on
` Lammers Road (just north of Grant Line Road) and a cumulative ADT of 5,000 is projected for Naglee
Road (just north of Grant Line Road). A cumulative ADT of about 750 vehicles is projected for Middle
Road. Also the Grant Line Road section between Byron Road and Corral Hollow Road is proposed to be
widened to six lanes by year 2010 according to the Mountain House EIR. In this report, signalization of
the Grant Line Road intersection has been assumed under cumulative conditions as a result of the roadway
improvements programmed for Grant Line Road section between Byron Road and Corral Hollow Road.
No improvements over existing conditions have been assumed on other study area roadways and
intersections. Figure 8 illustrates the intersection lane geometries and control for study area intersections
under year 2020 conditions.
_ YEAR 2020 -NO PROJECT
Using the cumulative traffic volume forecasts obtained as described above, traffic conditions expected
to exist within the study area by the year 2020 without the proposed project were determined. Figure
` 6A illustrates the intersection turning movement volumes projected for weekday AM and PM peak hour
periods and Figure 6B illustrates those for the Sunday peak hour period of the project's trip generation.
The resulting Level of Service values are contained in Table 6.
6.
L
Trinity Baptist Church Project Page 16
Traffic Study
r
r
