1V. Continued
The existing septic system on the Bell property has been functions for a
number of years now without any problem. The Septic systems on the two
properties to the north have been in existance for up to 20 plus years without
any problems and we would not forsee any problem with the new proposed septic
system for Parcel 2. The Misting septic systems consist of a septic tank, leach
lines and dry wells.
V. GRODND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING
Currently there are two wells on the property with one well serving Mr.
Bells residence and the other well servicing the mobile hone within the new
Parcel 3 boundary. Mr. Bells well is down to approximately 300 feet and the
well serving the mobile hone is approximately 140 feet. The wells on the
property to the immediate north of this parcel map is rangeing from 160 to
200 feet.
V1. SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTS
Three test holes for percolation were drilled to a depth of 36" each and
12" in diameter. Visual classification of each soil strstum encountered was
made in the field by a Civil Engineer at the time the test holes were excavated/
drilled.
The soil in all three holes was a dark brownish gray top soil with hard
pan type soils below.
Percolation tests were performed in the holes with a copy of these tests
attached. It can be seen from the tests that the perk rate for the tests
either meet or exceed the l" per 2 hour period. We feel that this rate meets
the requirements as set forth by the Public Health Services Division of the San
Joaquin County and would recommend the leach lines with pits at the ends of each
leach line be installed.
The location of the test holes are shown on the attached application. The
deep pits are recommended to be to a depth of 25' .
Vll. CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation test, the soil profile and the past
performance of the existing septic systems in the area and the wells in service
in this area would not be adversely be affected or be detrimental to the ground
water supply and will meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services Department.
V111. LIMITATIONS
The Conslusions in this report are for the information gathered only and
does not warrent any porting of the site not tested. It is assumed that the test
results should be representative of the site.
Sincerely,
William Armstrong, P. .
