L
L
March 4, 2005
LNOA Project Number: E00517A
L5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
L 1. The inoperable cars parked on the property leaking unidentified fluids should be either fixed
or removed from the subject property and the contaminated soil be appropriately disposed
of according to applicable local, State and Federal regulations.
L2. The removal of the three tires and other scattered surface debris on the subject property is
L recommended.
3. If property owners or EHD are concerned about the potential threat of chemicals from
Labandoned drug labs and/or properties included on the LUST and SLIC list in the vicinity,
soil and groundwater sampling and analysis may be conducted.
4. Due to apparent discrepancies between field measurements of the subject property and the
L, assessor's parcel map,it is recommended that a land surveyor confirm the boundaries of the
subject property.
6.0 LIMITATIONS
I This report was compiled as a Surface/Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property.
L This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way
warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those
sources.
L
It should be noted that when a surface/subsurface assessment is completed without sample
L collection and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site, as in this study, no
statement of scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be
the result of on-site or off-site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report-are not scientific
L certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of
the data gathered during the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site
or adjoining land contains no hazardous waste, oil, underground storage tanks, or other latent
L condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface/Subsurface assessment.
The possibility always exists for contaminants to migrate through surface water, air, or groundwater.
LThe ground surface was wet from recent rains and almost entirely covered with grasses one to five
feet high at the time of the site visit;consequently, any soil staining present on the property would
Lnot have been detectable.
L10
L
