DILLON & MURPHY
CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEERS
1820 W. Kettleman lane. Suite E, Lad!, COlifomia 95242
P. O. Box 2180. Weber
Stockton, CA 95202
Attn: Ray Borges
Re: Aqua Pools
Project No. 02116
Dear Ray:
I have received some additional information from MicroSepTec(enclosed). I am in agreement
with their premise that soil type does not affect their rests. However, the information they
provided indicates that they do apply their systems in sandy soil areas and areas with high
groundwater. Their prediction of dentrifrcation of 10%in sandy soil and 35%in clay soil will
certainly be incorporated into the ultimate design of the leach fields. It appears their product will
emit effluent below the allowable standards and any denitrification generated from the leach
field lines will only add to the benefit.
As I discussed previously, the owners have purchased the adjacent property(approximately 2.5
acres). There will be more than sufficient space for any proposed leach field.
Please call me for discussion. Given the additional data, my client would like to move forward
with the project even though they do not have specific uses for the proposed lease building. I can
provide what I would consider conservative calculations for effluent of generic uses if you feel it
would be appropriate. Thank you for your attention on this matter.
Sincerely,
Joe urphy
JM/cg
Enc.
CA9211"orge'IM 022103
