Ruiz
701 Scott Street
San Francisco, CA 94117
A report of a drug laboratory received by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (EHD) identified the improper handling of hazardous materials/waste in and
around the above referenced premises. This letter serves as a notification that there
still may be hazardous materials/waste at or on the property that may pose a detriment
to the health and safety of any future occupants of these premises.
EHD requires that an assessment of the premise/structure(s) and septic system(s) be
conducted by a certified industrial hygienist to evaluate and certify the premise/structure
safe for occupancy. In the event contamination is identified, EHD further requires that
all hazardous conditions be abated prior to the premises being reoccupied. Final
clearance shall be given by EHD prior to re-occupancy.
A list of hazardous waste cleanup firms and certified testing laboratories are available
from EHD upon request. You are directed to give a copy of this letter to the industrial
hygienist completing the work.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call Stephanie Ramirez,
SREHS, at (209) 953-7699
Sincerely,
Stephanie Ramirez, SREH§Lk
cc: Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
HAO021
