Applicant proposes to mine approximately 14,000,000 tons of sand, and 8,295,000 tons of soil. The quarry will operate as a single phase. The termination date of this project will conform to the existing termination date for QX-91-3 of July 29, 2041. Mining operation will be a combination of quarrying and dredging, excavation will occur to a depth of 60 feet. Final reclamation will create a lake to be used for aquaculture. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40 acre minimum) and the General Plan Designation is A/G (General Agricutlure), OS/RC (Open Space Resource Conservation).
