The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. © a. © The Fire Prevention Division has reviewed this application and there does not appear to be any major problems associated with the proposed project as submitted ❑ A complete review at building permit submittal will require compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. ❑ b. Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: ❑ 1.)Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code. ❑ 2.)NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. ❑ c. Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. ❑ d. Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. ❑ e. This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the map for record.Please contact Fire Prevention at 209-468-3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road ❑ f This project shall comply with the San Joaquin County Development Title Section 9-1150.18,Road Naming Proceedures. Please contact the Community Development Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior to requesting Fire Department approval. ❑ g. Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. ❑ h Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2. ❑ i. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.2.1 ❑ j. A technical report to determine the acceptability of technologies, processes, products, facilities, materials, and uses attending the design,operation or use of the building or premises may be required(CFC 1103.2.4) ❑ k.
