Approximately 135 residents(assuming 3 persons per
`r dwelling unit)are housed in these units (SPIIIEIR,Vol. II).
` As stated in the SPIIIEIR Appendix D,the MHMP sets forth a comprehensive set of
population and housing plans and requirements. Buildout under the MHMP would result in
an estimated 39,000 residents, 15,700 expected dwelling units, and 21,600 employees within
the Mountain House community. The Grant Line Village located on Grant Line Road is
designated Very Low Residential. This designation would permit preservation of the existing
residences and/or redevelopment of these areas with low-density residential development if
desired by the existing residents. The MHMP states that Specific Plans shall be prepared so
that a maximum of 16,000 units is not exceeded.
%W SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS IDENTIFIED IN 2005 SPIIIEIR
r, No significant impacts were identified.
V
DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED PROJECT
`r a) Induce substantial population growth in an area, either directly(for example, by
proposing new homes and businesses)or indirectly(for example, through extension of
%W roads or other infrastructure)?
4-61
V
