PUBLIC SERVICES. <br /> a) Would the project result in <br /> substantial adverse physical impacts <br /> associated with the provision of new <br /> or physically altered governmental <br /> facilities,need for new or physically <br /> altered governmental facilities,the <br /> construction of which could cause <br /> significant environmental impacts, <br /> in order to maintain acceptable <br /> service ratios,response times or <br /> other performance objectives for any <br /> of the public services: <br /> Fire protection? . ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ <br /> Police protection? ■ ❑ ❑ ❑ ❑ <br /> Schools? ■ ❑ ❑ ❑ <br /> Parks? ■ ❑ ❑ <br /> Other public facilities? ❑ ■ ❑ <br /> SETTING <br /> Fire Protection and Emergency Services <br /> In May 1996, the Mountain House Community Services District(MHCSD)entered into an <br /> agreement with the Tracy Rural Fire Protection District(TRFPD)whereby the TRFPD would <br /> provide fire protection and emergency medical response services at the Mountain House <br /> Community. <br /> A fire station to serve the Mountain House Community has been constructed at the corner of <br /> Mascot Boulevard and Tradition Street in the Specific Plan I project area. This station is <br /> located approximately one mile north of the project site. Engine 98,with a two-person crew, <br /> is housed at this station and is specifically dedicated for use at the Mountain House - <br /> Community and the surrounding area. <br /> Emergency medical services are coordinated by the San Joaquin County Emergency Medical <br /> Services Agency and provided to the Mountain House Community by private ambulance <br /> agencies. In addition, emergency medical services are provided with an ambulance from the <br /> Tracy Hospital. Ambulance response time to the project site is less than five minutes <br /> (EDAW, 2005b). <br /> 4-64 <br />
