k4 KLEINFELDER
TELEPHONE CONVERSATION RECORD
Date: 10/22/02 Time: 11 : 20 A.M.
To From X : Charles Spatafore
Company: Site Owner
Address:
Phone No. (209) 833-5605 (pager)
Project Name: Mountainhous Parkway Project No: 21073.P01
According to Mr. Spatafore, he has been onsite for approximately 30 years.
To the best of his knowledge the site has always been used for agricultural
purposes. Mr. Spatafore stated that the fishing ponds were used for
approximately 20 years and where closed approximately 1-2 years ago. To
the best of his knowledge no chemicals were used in conjunction with the
ponds. According to Mr. Spatafore, a below grade, plastic PVC pipeline
was used as drainage from the fish ponds and that the line empties into
the irrigation system. Mr. Spatafore also stated that a large soil pile and a
wet area are part of a settlement pond system that is used to keep silt and
topsoil out of the irrigation system. The soil was then dried out and
spread over another part of the site. Mr. Spatafore had knowledge of 2 PG
_ and E natural gas pipelines and a Chevron petroleum pipeline trending
through the site, but had no knowledge of any leaks or incidents involving
the lines. Mr. Spatafore stated that 2 domestic wells and 2 septic tanks
are located onsite. He also stated that the site is permitted for the use of
several pesticides. Mr. Spatafore also stated that underground irrigation
lines trend through the site and three UST's, located near the produce
stand are used for sdtorage of diesel fuel and gasoline.
U:\Pmarquez\TELEPHONE CONVERSATION RECORD.Doc I
Copyright 1998 Kleinfelder, Inc.
L
