Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability indicating that the area is suitable for <br /> septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map or Certificate of <br /> Compliance(San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 <br /> must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or E.P.A.Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each <br /> parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane(DBCP)and <br /> nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map or Certificate of Compliance. Samples are to be taken <br /> and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> C. The Environmental Health Department requires the abandoned well(s)be destroyed under permit and <br /> inspection by the Environmental Health Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1115.5(e)). <br /> NOTE: Parcel#1,#2,#3 each have abandoned wells. <br /> D. The well on Parcel#2 must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e))by installing a cement <br /> surface seal around the well casing to protect the well casing sufficiently and the integrity of well <br /> grout. <br /> E. Open,pump,and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation under permit and inspection by <br /> the Environmental Health Department(San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1110.3 & <br /> 9-1110.4). <br /> NOTE: Parcel#3 was a historic labor campsite. <br /> F. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s)under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability <br /> findings (San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1110.3&9-1110.4). <br /> G. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Department is required at the time of development(San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.3). <br />
