SAN JOAQUIN COUT`T'T'Y
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH MPARTMENT
304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor, Stockton, California 95202-2708
c4ikopN`P
August 4, 2005
To: San Joaquin County Community Development Department
From: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Contact Person: Mike Huggins, Supervising R.E.H.S., R.D.I., Phone: (209) 468-3437
RE: PA-0400616 (ZR), SU005200, Attention: Rick Griffin
13475 North Jack Tone Road, Lodi
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department has no objection to the Zone
Reclassification; however, future conditions will apply regarding the provisions of water and
sewage, as well as the following comments:
1. Civil Engineered addendum report shows elevated nitrate levels above 10 mg/L with a
single-family residence proposed.
NOTE: The Environmental Health Department will not support a second unit dwelling on this
parcel.
2. The existing onsite well cannot be utilized for domestic purposes. 7
3. Civil Engineered designed septic system shows sumps at 8 feet deep with perched water at
10-feet. Sumps must maintain 5-foot separation from bottom of leach field to first
groundwater.
/J
C
MH:cF
