1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of site: The project consists of one parcel located at 23350 N. Jack Tone Road, <br /> Acampo, CA. The subject parcel number is 021-050-08. The project is in an agricultural J <br /> community and is zoned AG-40. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to create one homesite parcel and <br /> one "Designated Remainder"parcel from one 40 acre parcel. In accordance with the San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) /� 2 <br /> is being submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical <br /> environmental contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county <br /> records. (This SSCR includes no chemical analysis). <br /> 1.3 Parcel location map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map, and APN 0. <br /> page). / <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST PRESENT AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of past, present, and proposed future uses: The primary source of information <br /> of the historic use of this property is testimony of the current owner, Juan Chivira. Mr. Chiriva's <br /> family has owned the property for more than 10 years. <br /> Presently, the property is used as the owner's homesite and seasonal row crops. The property \� <br /> was formerly used as a poultry farm, however,that operation has since been retired. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> _ 3.1 Methods used to research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched at <br /> the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on November 19, 2012 (see appendix <br /> for results). Also a preliminary onsite survey was performed on October 17, 2012 by Louie <br /> Mendez of Dillon& Murphy. The owner was interviewed on October 17, 2012 by Louie Mendez <br /> of Dillon& Murphy. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's underground <br /> storage tank site mitigation database list did not yield any findings on the subject parcel (see <br /> Appendix). A search for U.S.T./L.U.S.T. sites was done on the subject parcel and yielded no <br /> findings. Research was performed on the subject site as required by County regulations. <br /> 3.2 Description of all past on-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources <br /> of contamination identified at the project site: Past on-site potential for contamination are <br /> low. The property was formerly used as a poultry farm, however,that operation has since been <br /> retired. Historically there have been no underground storage tanks.
