1 <br /> F1 INTRODUCTION <br /> FThe purpose of this project is to perform a lot line adjustment and a homesite parcel. The entire <br /> project is currently 120 acres. It will result in 3 five acre parcels, a two acre parcel and a 103 <br /> acre remainder parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) is being submitted for application with <br /> the tentative map. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical environment <br /> contamination based on field observation, soil testing, and testimony from the owners. <br /> Project Description <br /> The project consists of 3 parcels located at 23800 N. Jack Tone Road, Acampo. The projects is <br /> in an agricultural area. It is zoned AG-40. AL-5 property adjoins the project to the west. The <br /> site has three existing homes. See tentative map included in the appendix. <br /> The proposed project will not generate any new homesites. Parcel 1 would be entitled to a <br /> second unit dwelling. See Appendix for a site map of the project. <br /> k Project History <br /> I <br /> The primary source of information on the historical use of the property is testimony from the <br /> owners and records from the County(San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office <br /> and the San Joaquin County Contaminated Site List.) The Silva family has owned the property <br /> F1 for more than 20 years. This property has historically been a dairy. It is currently a retired dairy <br /> with some cows and annual crops. This property has historically been surrounded by grazing <br /> land. The property west and north of this site are zoned AL-5 and have had ranchettes built on <br /> F them in the past 10 years. <br /> Field Investigation <br /> The following information was obtained during a fele investigation of the site as well as <br /> F11 interviewing the property owners. <br /> This site has 3 homes, two mobile homes, five septic systems, two wells and numerous dairy <br /> Fbuildings (barns, sheds, calf pens, etc.) �' �- '�, r.i/ �:.r, .� <br /> According to the owner, there are no buried tanks on the property. There are no visual signs of <br /> any such tanks (ground settling, irregular ground, etc.) <br /> In conjunction with the dairy operations, crops have been raised on the property. Chemicals <br /> 1 have been used on the crops, and their records are included in the Appendix. <br /> V <br /> The depth to groundwater in this vicinity is approximately 130 feet. <br /> Firi According to the land owner, there are no known pesticide containers buried on the property. A <br /> visual inspection did not produce any evidence of buried containers.
